Comments from Participants of UAC’s 2004 Gubernatorial Forum/Debate
April 22 Ogden Eccles Conference Center
“I thought it was one of the best I have been at.” –Jerry Spangler, Deseret News Political Reporter
“I thought everything went very well. I especially liked the different question for each candidate during each round—they spoke to a lot more issues, and weren’t able to take off on tangents quite so easily.”
–Don Porter, Standard-Examiner Reporter
“It was my pleasure to take part in your debate. I thought the format worked very well, and that it was a good way to get all the candidates to have a turn, and to allow for a good mix of questions. I don’t have any suggestions for you because I thought you guys did a good job.”—Richard Piatt, KSL Political Reporter

Doug,
Thanks for your follow up.
As a marketing consultant, I want to pass along some kudos. I find your communications on behalf of UAC consistently thorough, timely and upbeat.
You communicate an enthusiasm for the organization, your vendors, and county constituents that is truly unusual.
Sterling is currently working with a number of the Utah counties on codification projects that include first ever codes (such as the recently published Washington County and Summit County codes) and launching codes online at http://www.sterlingcodifiers.com.
In my work with the counties, your name has come up with positive references.
So keep up the good work.
I hope you have a really successful conference.

Doug,
Just wanted you know that you did an outstanding job with the conference. It was great. I am sure things have been more difficult without Brent the past week, but you did a wonderful job.

Doug,
I believe this was one of the best conventions that we have had (Thurs and Fri). I felt it was a positive experience with good food and excellent entertainment for the Friday banquet. My wife shares that same view. Thanks for the efforts of all staff at UAC.
